FOOTBALL COACHING CENTRE
Contributing a healthy generation to society
Nirvik Sangha Football Coaching Centre, established in 1981 with the support of Lalu Chatterjee, has been a driving force in Kolkata’s football scene. Under the expert guidance of Coach Sri Ranjit Samanta, our centre has produced several talented players who have gone on to play for various clubs and teams.
Players from our coaching centre have played for prestigious clubs such as Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, and Md Sporting, as well as Bharti Sangha, George Telegraph, Sonali Sibir, and Salkia Friends. In addition, many players coached by Sri Ranjit Samanta have represented the sub-Junior and Bengal teams, as well as competed in the Subrata Cup.
Notable players who honed their skills at NSC Centre include Bivas Ghosh, who played for Mohun Bagan Club, Subhasish Roy Chowdhury, who played for EB and the Indian football team, and the late Proloy Saha, who played for EB and India. Tarak Ghosh, Late Babusona, and Geri are among the other talented players who have emerged from our coaching centre.
Nirvik Sangha Club has participated in various tournaments and has won many trophies over the years, with the period from 1975 to 1980 being particularly notable as the Golden Period. We are committed to continuing our legacy of producing skilled and dedicated players who can make a mark in the world of football.
The vision of a football coaching centre is to provide a platform for aspiring footballers to develop their skills and achieve their full potential. The coaching centre should aim to create an environment where players feel motivated to learn and improve, with a focus on developing their physical, technical, tactical, and mental abilities.
By providing the right guidance, training, and support, the coaching centre can help its players achieve their dreams and become successful footballers, while also contributing to the growth and development of the sport as a whole.
